PROLONGED INACTIVITY
REMISAGE DE LONGUE DURÉE
PROLONGED INACTIVITY
Before leaving the vehicle inactive for a long period, it is
advisable to carry out the following operations:
• Carefully wash the scooter.
• Empty the fuel tank.
• Lubricate the cylinder-piston assembly by removing the
spark plug, pouring in approx. 20 cm³ of mixture oil and
cranking the engine a few times with the kick-start.
Replace the spark plug at the end of the operation.
• Remove the battery and store it in a dry place.
• Protect the scooter with a dust cover.
RESTORING THE VEHICLE TO NORMAL
OPERATION AFTER PROLONGED INACTIVITY
• Check for the presence of spots denoting leakage
under the vehicle. If necessary, have the vehicle checked
by a Benelli Dealer or Authorized Workshop.
• Wash the vehicle.
• Reinstall the battery after checking its charge.
• Refuel.
• Check the mixer oil level.
REMISAGE DE LONGUE DURÉE
Avant une longue période d'arrêt du scooter, il est
conseillé d'effectuer les opérations suivantes:
• Laver soigneusement le scooter
• Vidanger le réservoir de carburant,
• Lubrifier le groupe cylindre-piston en démontant la
bougie et en versant environ 20 cm³ d'huile de mélange;
actionner la pédale de kick pour faire effectuer quelques
courses au piston; remonter la bougie à la tin de l'opération
• Déposer la batterie et la ranger dans un lieu sec
• Bâcher le scooter.
REMISE EN SERVICE APRÈS UNE LONGUE INACTIVITÉ
• Vérifier la présence éventuelle de tâches sous le scooter,
symptômes de fuites éventuelles. Dans ce cas, s'adresser
à un Concessionnaire ou un Garage Agréé Benelli pour
les contrôles nécessaires.
• Laver le scooter.
• Remonter la batterie après avoir vérifié la charge.
• Approvisionner avec du carburant neuf.
• Vérifier le niveau d'huile de mélange.
