5.1 Overview
The overview of electrical systems of film scanner is shown in Figure 5-1.

The 2740S scanner is composed of 7 PCB boards: Power board, Main
board, CCD board, Inverter board., LED board, Panel board and Sensor
board .
Through functional partitions, the whole scanner system can be divided
into 6 parts : ASIC Scanner Controller, Analog Circuits, CCD Module,
Power supply and Inverter,, ICE Function and other Elements (including
line motor, home sensor, Lamp...etc). They are all shown in figure 5-1.

The whole scanner system can be divided into 3 main modules as shown
in figure 5-2. The scan module is composed of the CCD board and Lamp.
