Chapter 7 Maintenance
This chapter gives step by step instructions for maintaining the 2740S
film scanner.
7.1 Precaution
Make sure that you unplug the film scanner before disassembling.
Unless otherwise specified, reassemble the scanner by reversing the
disassembly procedure.
Do not disassemble the CCD board and lens.
If it is necessary to plug in the adapter cord and operate the scanner
after it is disassembled, pay special attention to the following:
A. Keep your hands and clothing well away from the operating or
moving parts such as scan module, gear train ...etc.
B. Never touches the terminals of the electrical and high-voltage
parts.
Unplug the connector by holding the connector housing. Pulling the
cable cord may cause poor connection. Turn the power off first when
unplug the connector on the scanner circuit board.
Never turn the power on if there is no shading on the lamp.
7.2 Housing Section
To removing housing
A. Remove the two screws in Figure 7-1.
B. Open the both side of the housing by the arrow direction, then pull out
the housing.
CAUTION: Make sure there is not a strip holder or slide holder inserted
