ISO sensitivity
The higher the ISO value, the more noise you may see in the image.
To select an ISO value:
1. Tap > ISO (under ).
2. Tap an ISO option or tap / to move to other options.
3. Tap to exit.
Metering (Automatic exposure metering)
To select an AE option:
1. Tap > Metering (under ).
2. Tap a metering option.
3. Tap to exit.
Icon Description
Automatically sets the ISO value.
Equivalent to color ISO 100/200/400 film. Used for outdoor
photography in bright sunlight.
Equivalent to color ISO 800/1600/3200/6400 film
ISO 3200 for images at 3 megapixels or lower
ISO 6400 for images at 3 megapixels or lower
Both ISO 3200 and ISO 6400 are often used it in a low-light
environment or where the flash light is not allowed.
You may not be able to select the ISO value if you use certain shooting modes such as
(Auto).
Icon Mode Description
Matrix Detects the exposure based on multiple points in
the subject area.
Center Weight Detects the exposure of the entire shooting
screen, but gives more importance to the values
near the center.
Spot Detects the exposure based on the center spot in
the subject area.
