STARTING THE ENGINE
• Insert the key in the ignition switch,
turn it clockwise and ensure that
the neutral indicator (N) on the
instrument panel is lit.
Warning: To minimize battery con-
sumption, before turning the key
ensure that the dip switch is in the
low beam position.
• Turn fuel cock A:
OFF = closed
ON = open
RES = reserve
Electric starting
• Pull the clutch lever while pushing
the start button on the throttle
control without turning the throt-
tle twist grip.
Kick starting
• Kick down the lever down and
then bring it back to its home
position.
Note: When the engine is cold, push
down lever B, start the engine, wait
a few seconds and then bring the
lever back to its home position.

AVVIAMENTO DEL MOTORE
• Ruotare la chiave nel commuta-
tore in senso orario ed assicurarsi
che la spia del folle (N), posta sul
cruscotto, sia accesa.
Attenzione: Ricordarsi, prima di gi-
rare la chiave, di posizionare il pul-
sante deviatore luci in posizione
anabbagliante (vedi pag. 8), in
maniera da ridurre il più possibile il
consumo della batteria.
• Ruotare il rubinetto benzina A:
OFF = chiuso
ON = aperto
RES = riserva
Avviamento elettrico
• Tirare la leva frizione e contempo-
raneamente spingere il pulsante
avviamento sul comando gas
senza ruotare la manopola gas.
Avviamento con leva messa in moto
• Intervenire sulla leva messa in
moto, affondando con il piede
un colpo deciso, quindi riportare
la leva in posizione di partenza.
Nota: A motore freddo abbassare
la leva B, avviare il veicolo, atten-
dere alcuni istanti, quindi riportare
la leva nella posizione iniziale.
