5.4 REPLACING AND ADJUSTING THE SIDE BRUSH
REPLACING
After lifting the front part of the machine, replace the side brush by loosening the brush fixing screw and removing
the brush. Replace the brush and secure the new one in place with the screw and its washer.
ADJUSTING
The side brush is adjusted by loosening screws and using the slots to position the brush at the required height.
Once you have positioned it, tighten the two screws.
5.5 REPLACING AND ADJUSTING THE MAIN BRUSH
REPLACING
To replace the main brush, remove the front bin and loosen the four fixing screws to remove the brush.
When mounting a new brush, pay attention to the direction in which the brush will spin: it must direct dirt toward
the center of the machine.
ADJUSTING
To adjust the main brush, lift the top bonnet, loosen the lock nut (#2, Fig. 5) and turn adjusting handle (#1, Fig. 5)
in the direction required (counterclockwise to increase pressure). By pulling up the handle, the brush will turn idle.
This will allow you to position the brush in a place where it will not prevent the top bonnet from closing.
