2.5 Maintenance
• Protect the transmitter from humidity, knocks and shock. Avoid dropping the transmitter
at all times.
• For cleaning metal surfaces, use a soft cloth moistened with methylated spirits or
alcohol.
• To clean the integrated foam pop shield, unscrew the microphone basket counter
clockwise.
• Pull out the foam pop shield and clean it under clear running water.
• If necessary, use a mild washing-up liquid.
• Dry it afterwards with a hairdryer or allow it to dry overnight.
• Place the dry pop shield inside the microphone basket and replace the microphone
basket by screwing it on clockwise.
SEM 381 Handheld Transmitter
• The sensitivity switch is inside the microphone head.
• To adjust the sensitivity unscrew the upper microphone
grille as indicated by the arrows.
• Factory adjustment: high sensitivity (0 dB).
