26 System Configuration Commands
3.6 S commands
Display/modify CU streams and allocation table
Important Note
This is the first command group in this document that triggers a rather complex and
very specific CU-reply (more precisely the S 0 command). The structure of these replies
and the information needed to interpret them are presented in the second table in this
chapter.
The S commands refer to the four radio channels of the audio transmission (see four
LEDs on the front panel of the CU) and their assignment to individual MUs. This
assignment information can be queried and also set.
Please note that there may be two audio assignments per stream that need to be
distinguished. This is the case with the transmission of audio for Double Delegate
microphone units. In the further course of the document, these two possibilities of
assignment are referred to as Stream right and left according to the designations left
and right at the MU. If it is only a single delegate or chairman, the left stream is
allocated.
