70 Microphone Mode Commands
7.2 Commands for Mute Settings
There are several mute modes that can be used in microphone mode as shown in the
following subchapters.
7.2.1 Mute Mode Settings
You can set whether push-to-mute or toggle mute should be used. In push-to-mute
mode, the mute button must be pressed permanently to mute. The toggle mute mode
allows a permanent mute setting with only one keystroke.
Important
Please execute the J A command before you carry out the direct addressing of the
memory shown in the following chapter where there is a set bit for the mute mode. None
of these commands alone is sufficient to completely set the mute mode.
7.2.2 Global Mute Settings
A global mute is also possible, which means that when the mute is pressed, not only the
respective microphone unit is muted, but all registered resp. active microphone units as
well.
The global mute setting is set by register 0x105 (more precisely bit 0 in this byte) in the
memory. For this reason, the direct addressing of a byte is shown below.
Important
In addition to the bit position for setting global mute, this command also addresses the
bit position for mute mode, which must be set next to the J A command shown above
in order to completely set mute mode.
