INTENDED USE
These torsion bars, with an input and output profile size of 12.5 mm (1/2“) and a length of 195 mm, are
used to limit the torque when tightening screw connections. The torque value is determined by the
respective torsion bar. The tolerance of the torsion bars when using an impact wrench with 250 Nm is
approx. 10% within 5 seconds.
SAFETY INFORMATIONS
Keep children and unauthorised persons away from the work area.
Do not let any children play with the tool or its packaging.
Make sure that the work area is sufficiently illuminated.
Keep the work area clean, organised, dry and free from other materials.
Always wear approved eye protection and work gloves when using this tool.
Ensure a secure and well-gripped stance during working.
USE
bar with an impact wrench.
2. Put an impact socket of the required size onto the torsion bar.
3. Place the impact wrench on the screw connection to be tightened and start the impact wrench.
4. Stop the impact wrench directly as soon as the impact socket stops turning. Attention: Torsion
bars are not used to tighten screw connections to a tightening torque, they are only intended to
protect screw connections from excessive tightening torque. After using torsion bars, always tighten
the screw connection to the required torque by using a torque wrench.
ENVIRONMENTAL PROTECTION
Dispose of this product at the end of its working life environmentally. Recycle unwanted
materials instead of disposing of them as waste. All tools, accessories and packaging should
be sorted, taken to a recycling centre and disposed of in a manner which is compatible with the
environment. Contact your local solid waste authority for recycling information.
