Questions and Answers

Why does my Binks TROPHY have a heavy center pattern?
    • G
      Gerald WilliamsAug 14, 2025
To fix a Binks Paint Sprayer with a heavy center pattern, balance the air pressure and fluid flow. You can also increase the spray pattern width with the spreader adjustment valve. If that doesn't work, thin the material, lower the fluid flow, adjust the settings, increase the pressure, or thin the material to the proper consistency.

    Manuel SandersAug 18, 2025
What to do if my Binks TROPHY has a split spray pattern?
    • J
      Janet BellAug 18, 2025
If your Binks Paint Sprayer is producing a split spray pattern, the atomization air pressure might be too high, the fluid flow too low, or the spreader adjusting valve set too high. Try reducing the air pressure, increasing the fluid flow, or adjusting the spreader valve.

How to fix a Binks TROPHY Paint Sprayer that will not spray?
    • C
      Chad JohnsonAug 21, 2025
If the Binks Paint Sprayer will not spray, check the air supply and air lines, and blow out the gun's air passages. Ensure the fluid needle adjusting screw is open enough. If the fluid is too heavy for gravity feed, thin the material or change to a larger tip size.

Why does my Binks Paint Sprayer have a jerky or fluttering spray?
    • B
      burgessmicheleAug 26, 2025
A jerky or fluttering spray from your Binks Paint Sprayer can be due to a loose or damaged fluid tip/seat, low material level, the container being tipped too far, an obstruction in the fluid passage, or a dry or loose fluid needle packing nut. Try tightening or replacing the fluid tip/seat, refilling the material, holding the container more upright, backflushing with solvent, or lubricating/tightening the fluid needle packing nut.
