The pumps are activated by switches in the helm
switch panel. Be sure to monitor the water level
in the shbox and turn the pump o as soon as
pumping is complete. A pump could be damaged
if it is allowed to run dry for extended periods.
The shboxes should be drained and cleaned after
each use. Refer to the Drainage Systems chapter
for more information on the shbox drainage.
In-Floor Storage Compartment
There is a large storage compartment located below
the cockpit oor between the helm and passenger
seats. The compartment drains to the bilge and
is equipped with “dry deck” padding to allow for
better drainage and air circulation in the compart-
ment. A drain rail around the hatch channels
water away from the compartment to the cockpit
drainage system.
A gas charged spring holds the hatch in the open
position and a Flush, lift to release latch holds it
closed. The handle on the latch remains up when
the latch is not secured. Always make sure the
hatch is closed with the latch in the secured posi-
tion before operating the boat above idle speed.
The fresh water pump is located near the water
tank on the port side. Boats with the optional grey
water system are equipped with a sump pump that
is located in this compartment.
Wet bar
The wet bar is equipped with a sink, cup holders
and could include an optional refrigerator and/or
an electric grill. The counter top and sink cover
is made of Karadon. A grab rail on the wet bar
provides a hand hold when moving about the
cockpit.
The sink is plumbed to the fresh water system
and is drained by gravity to a thru hull tting in
the hull side above the waterline. To use the sink,
remove and stow the lid. Then rotate the faucet
to the operating position and make sure the Fresh
Water Pump switch is on. The faucet works like
faucets in your home when the fresh water sys-
tem is activated. Always lower the faucet to the
stored position and replace the lid when the sink
is not being used.
Notice:
The wet bar sink will drain to the sump sys-
tem on boats equipped with the optional grey
water system.
