Convertible Port Lounge Seat
The port side bench seat is equipped a cooler/
storage below the seat cushion that drains to
the cockpit sole. The seat cushion is hinged and
equipped with a push to close latch and a gas
charged spring that helps raise the seat and holds
it in the open position.
An electric actuator moves the bench seat base
rearward and ush with the forward facing rear
bench seat to convert the seats to an L-lounge
type seat conguration. Another bench seat that
folds ush against the port side of the cockpit
behind the bench seat is deployed to complete
the conversion.
To convert the port bench seat to the lounge con-
guration, deploy the forward facing rear bench
seat. Then use the momentary switch on the back
of the passenger seat to move the seat base to the
rear until it stops. Raise the bench seat backrest
bolster and pull the handle near the top of the seat
base out of the recess toward the cockpit. The
side supports move out with the seat as it rotates

out. When the seat is half way out, lift the rear of
the seat with one hand while pushing the front of
the seat down with the other hand until it stops
in the seat position. Lower the backrest cushion.
