Programming of the AM field-strength level
Activate the service mode (see page 8).
Use the dummy antenna.
Operating mode ....................... AM
Push-button.............................. AF
Signal source ........................... signal generator
f = 900 kHz without modulation
Signal input .............................. E' = 56 dBuV (+attenuation!)
1. Adjust the signal generator to 900 kHz.
2. Feed the RF signal E' = 56 dBµV into the antenna input
(observe the attenuation of the dummy antenna).
3. Tune the radio to 900 kHz (preset push-button 3).
4. Press the push-button "AF".
For the next 2 seconds the display shows "SS-CAL".
In the case that "ERROR" is displayed, the programming is
faulty.
The display of "XXX YY XX" indicates the successful programming..
The positions "YY" should give a reading between 7E and 82.

If a repetition of the programming should become necessary,
it is advisable to check on the contacting of the diummy
antenna.
5. Exit the service mode!
Specification of the AM seek-tuning stop levels:
DX1 24 dBµV ± 6 dB LO1 46 dBµV ± 6 dB
DX2 30 dBµV ± 6 dB LO2 52 dBµV ± 6 dB
DX3 36 dBµV ± 6 dB LO3 58 dBµV ± 6 dB
Note: On frequencies other than the specified
alignment frequency of 900 kHz the seek-stop
sensitivity may vary up to ±10dB.

f = 900 kHz ohne Modulation
Signaleingang .......................... E' = 56 dBµV (+Bedämpfung!)
1. Den Meßsender auf 900 kHz einstellen.
2. Speisen Sie nun das HF - Signal E' = 56 dBµV in die Anten -
nenbuchse ein (Dämpfung der künstlichen Antenne beachten).
2. Stimmen Sie das Gerät auf 900 kHz ab (Stationstaste 3).
4. Betätigen Sie die Taste "AF".
Für 2 Sekunden erscheint der Schriftzug "SS-CAL" im Display.
Erscheint "ERROR" im Display ist die Programmierung
fehlerhaft.
Erscheint "XXXYY XX" ist die Programmierung in Ordnung.
Die mit "YY" angegebenen Stellen sollten die Werte zwischen
7E und 82 annehmen.

Sollte eine Wiederholung dieser Programmierung notwendig
sein, gegebenenfalls die Kontaktierung der Ersatzantenne
kontrollieren.
5. Servicemode verlassen!
Es gelten folgende Suchlauf-Stopwerte für AM:
DX1 24 dBµV ± 6 dB LO1 46 dBµV ± 6 dB
DX2 30 dBµV ± 6 dB LO2 52 dBµV ± 6 dB
DX3 36 dBµV ± 6 dB LO3 58 dBµV ± 6 dB
Hinweis: Außerhalb der angegebenen Abgleichfrequenz
von 900 kHz kann die Suchlaufstop-Empfind-
lichkeit um ±10dB streuen.
