Destination Guidance
Prerequisite:
• You specifi ed a place of destina-
tion as described in the chapter
"Entering a Destination"
- or -
• you selected a place of destination
from the Favourites as described in
the chapter "Copying the Destina-
tion from the Favourites"
- or -
• you selected a place of destination
from the Recent destinations list as
described in the chapter "Copying
one of the Recent Destinations"
- or -
• you planned or loaded a route (as
described in the chapter "Route
Planning with Stages").
➜ Touch the Start navigation but-
ton.
The route is being calculated.
The map is displayed. Your current
position is represented by a yellow
triangle. The route is highlighted
in blue.
Notes:
• The route is calculated using the
currently valid settings for the
route calculation. The settings for
the route options can be viewed
and changed via the Routing op-
tions menu. For detailed infor-
mation, please read the chapter
"Specifying route options".
• If the navigation for a route is start-
ed, the starting point is always the
current position. The fi rst stage of
the route is the fi rst defi ned route
point.
