Tire Pressure Monitoring System (Optional)
The SmarTire™ Tire Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS) is a wireless communication
network that constantly monitors the pressure and temperature of each tire on your
vehicle in order to provide real-time, on-demand tire status information and to warn
the driver of a tire-related problem before it becomes dangerous. The TPMS indicates
tire designation, temperature, pressure and pressure deviation and displays in a
gauge located in the Right Console Switch Panel. The display gauge is equipped with
a screen, LED alerts with audible alarms, and buttons as an interface for programming
and diagnostics.
Tire inflation pressure must not exceed the specifications of the tire and/or wheel/
rim manufacturer for the specific load, speed and application. The inflation pressure
embossed on the tire sidewall may not take into consideration the wheel/rim capaci-
ties. Tires should not be inflated above the pressure listed on the Federal Certification
plate without consulting your tire/wheel distributor.
