What to do if my Blue Clean Pressure Washer won't turn on?
    • M
      melissa84Jul 30, 2025
First, ensure the GFCI module on the power cord is plugged directly into an outlet, avoiding any extension cords. Then, with the GFCI connected, verify the power switch is on. Note that it's normal for the pressure washer to turn on briefly (1-2 seconds) and then shut off when the power switch is initially turned on.

What to do if the Blue Clean 610 Pressure Washer is running but there is no water flow?

First, remember that the power should not be turned on until water comes through the spray gun to avoid motor damage. Then, check the water source and inspect the Garden Hose Adapter for loose connections and filter for any debris. Eject the nozzle from the lance to determine if a clog is present. If the nozzle is clogged, refer to the nozzle cleaning instructions. If the nozzle is clear, remove the lance and spray directly from the spray gun to identify if the lance is the source of the problem.

Why is water leaking where the high pressure hose connects to the spray gun on my Blue Clean 610 Pressure Washer?

Ensure there is an o-ring at the end of the metal tip of the high pressure hose. If the o-ring is missing, the connection will leak.

Why does my Blue Clean 610 turn on for 2 seconds, then shuts off?

It sounds like your pressure washer is functioning correctly. When connected to a water source, properly assembled, and with the power switch on, the unit may briefly activate to prime the pump. It will then automatically shut off, awaiting the spray gun trigger to be pressed. Once the trigger is activated, water flow is sensed by a sensor in the pump, which then automatically turns the pressure washer back on. To resolve this, turn the power switch off, hold the trigger on the spray gun so that you have a steady stream of water. While you are holding the trigger open on the spray gun, at the same time, turn the power switch on.

I can’t remove the lance from the spray gun of my Blue Clean 610. What should I do?

All lances and detergent bottles attach and detach from the extension lance in the same way. Insert the quick-release end of the lance/detergent bottle into the extension lance. Press the extension lance and lance together about 1/8” and turn clockwise until it locks. To remove, reverse the process: press together and turn counter-clockwise until the lance slides out. If it is still stuck, hold the assembly upright with the nozzle end on the floor. Push straight down to loosen the connection, then try the removal process again. You may also apply soapy water or a lubricant where the lance connects to the extension lance.
