Why does my Blue Clean BC142HS Pressure Washer turn on for 2 seconds then shut off?
    • J
      Jasmine BennettJul 26, 2025
It sounds like your Blue Clean Pressure Washer is working correctly. When the water is connected, the accessories are properly assembled, and the power switch is on, the power washer may turn on for 1 - 2 seconds to prime the pump. You can also try turning the power switch off, holding the trigger on the spray gun to allow a steady stream of water, and then turning the power switch back on while still holding the trigger.

What to do if my Blue Clean BC142HS Pressure Washer unit is running but there is no water flow?

If your Blue Clean Pressure Washer is running but no water is flowing, first ensure that power is off until water comes through the spray gun, as running without water can damage the motor. Then, check the water source. Eject the nozzle from the lance to see if the clog is there (refer to nozzle cleaning instructions if needed). Remove the lance and spray directly from the spray gun to identify lance issues. Also, inspect the Garden Hose Adapter for loose connections and filter for any debris.

Why is water leaking where the high pressure hose connects to the spray gun on my Blue Clean BC142HS?

If water is leaking where the high pressure hose connects to the spray gun of your Blue Clean Pressure Washer, make sure there is an o-ring at the end of the metal tip of the high pressure hose. Use the O-Ring Replacement Kit included with your purchase if no o-ring is present.

How to turn on Blue Clean BC142HS?
    • J
      Joseph DiazAug 17, 2025
To turn on your Blue Clean Pressure Washer, ensure the GFCI module on the end of the power cord is plugged directly into an outlet, avoiding the use of an extension cord. With the GFCI connected, make sure the power switch is turned on. Note that when the power switch is turned on, the power washer may turn on briefly for 1-2 seconds and then shut off, which is normal.
