How do I use the Microsoft Teams Walkie Talkie feature with
my BlueParrott headset?
Prerequisites
BlueParrott B450-XT MS
Microsoft Teams mobile app (Android or iOS)
Location services must be enabled for Microsoft Teams, both in
the Apps permission section and on the main Location tab.
Note
The Walkie Talkie feature must be set up in Microsoft Teams by your
system admin. For more information on how to set up, please refer to the
official Microsoft Teams documentation.
To use the Walk Talkie feature in Microsoft Teams, follow these steps.
1. Make sure your BlueParrott headset is paired and connected to your
Bluetooth device.
2. Open the Microsoft Teams app.
3. Tap the Walkie Talkie icon in the bottom menu. If you don't see it
displayed, you will need to tap on More to find it.
4. Tap Channel to select a group or person.
5. Tap the Connect button. The button will show as Disconnect when you
have successfully joined the channel.
6. Press and hold the BlueParrott Button™ on your headset when
speaking. The microphone will be muted when you release the button.
7. When you are finished, or would like to change channels, tap
Disconnect.
