The BLUETTI AC200MAX is a portable power station designed to provide reliable power for various needs, both at home and on the go. It features a pure sine wave inverter with a continuous output power of 2,200W, making it capable of running a wide range of electrical appliances.
The AC200MAX serves as a versatile power source, offering multiple output options to cater to different devices. It includes a 100W PD3.0 USB-C port for fast charging modern electronics like Pixel Phones and MacBook Pros. For traditional DC devices, it provides a 12V/10A cigarette lighter port, two 12V/10A DC 5521 outputs, and a special 30A output port, which is particularly useful for RVs. On the AC side, it features five US AC outlets (or four EU/UK AC outlets depending on the region) and a NEMA TT-30 outlet, a standard for recreational vehicles in North America.
Charging the AC200MAX is flexible, supporting various input methods. It can be charged via an AC adapter, solar panels, a car cigarette lighter port, or even a lead-acid battery. The upgraded MPPT controller allows for up to 900W of solar input, enhancing its off-grid capabilities. Dual charging is also supported, combining AC and solar or AC and adapter/lead-acid battery inputs for faster replenishment.
A significant feature of the AC200MAX is its expandability. It supports up to two external battery packs, either the BLUETTI B230 or B300, which can significantly boost its total capacity. With two B300 packs, the AC200MAX can reach a massive 8192Wh, providing extended power for days or even weeks.
The AC200MAX is designed for user-friendly operation. It features an interactive LCD touchscreen (Information Vision) that allows users to monitor real-time data such as voltage, current, power, temperature, and the state of charge/discharge. The resistive touchscreen responds to light taps, and it's recommended to avoid direct sunlight to maximize its lifespan.
Through the touchscreen, users can adjust various settings, including output voltage, frequency, charging mode, and power consumption mode. It also provides access to fault history, BMS, DSP, ARM, and HMI hardware versions. The DC and AC outputs can be independently turned on or off directly from the homepage of the LCD screen.
For remote control and monitoring, the AC200MAX integrates Bluetooth connectivity. Users can download the BLUETTI App on iOS or Android devices to remotely control the unit, view display data (AC On/Off Status, Charge and Discharge Power, Model Code, Alarm History, Firmware Version, SOC), and control data (AC and DC ON, System Parameters Setting, Charge and Discharge Time, Empty and Full Capacity Setting, OTA Firmware Upgrade). The app allows for convenient management of the power station from a distance.
The device also includes two 15W wireless charging pads on top, allowing users to conveniently charge their compatible smartphones by simply placing them horizontally on the pads and enabling the DC output on the main screen.
An "ECO Mode" is available to conserve power. When activated, the AC power will automatically turn off if the load is low (≤50W) or if there's no load for over four hours, preventing unnecessary power drain.
To ensure proper functioning and longevity, the AC200MAX incorporates several safety and maintenance features. It has a Battery Management System (BMS) that protects against over-current, short circuits, and over-temperature. In case of an output over-current, overload, or short circuit, the corresponding output port will automatically turn off and attempt to restart after 20 seconds. If the issue persists, the port will be locked, requiring manual troubleshooting.
The device is designed with fan openings to ensure proper ventilation, and users are advised not to obstruct them to prevent permanent damage. It's also recommended to operate the AC200MAX in a dry and well-ventilated environment.
For optimal battery life, it's suggested to store the unit charged to 60-80% SOC every 3-6 months. The system also automatically turns off DC and AC outputs when the battery level drops to 0% and will only reactivate them when the battery is recharged to more than 5%, protecting the battery and enhancing its cycle life.
Firmware updates for ARM, DSP, HMI, and BMS can be performed online through the BLUETTI App via OTA (Over-the-Air), ensuring the device stays up-to-date with the latest improvements and features. The manual also provides a comprehensive troubleshooting guide with error codes and descriptions to assist users in diagnosing and resolving potential issues.
