Always take extra care
when temperatures are
low; remember that there is
particular danger of black ice
forming on bridges and where
the road is in shade.

Anti-theft alarm battery

Possible cause:
The integral battery in the anti-
theft alarm has lost a significant
proportion of its original capacity.
The anti-theft alarm will only be
operational for a limited period if
the 12 V battery is disconnected.
Consult an authorised
BMW Motorrad dealer.
