Maintenance and care
Check battery acid level
– Check the acid level regularly
• Place the BMW C1 on its
stand
– after making sure that the
ground is level and firm
• Open the stowage compart-
ment
• Disengage cover 1 by press-
ing down and simultaneously
pulling toward the rear and
remove
• Check acid level at
the MIN/MAX marks

Note:
Top up only with distilled water,
not acid.
Use combination pliers to un-
screw and tighten the cell
plugs.
• Top up with distilled water as
far as the MAX mark
• Install cover 1
• Make sure the cover is
securely seated
• Close the stowage compart-
ment
