Cleaning/care
• Dilute the BMW cleaner for
leather 1:50 with water
• Allow the leather to dry thor-
oughly; this can take about 24
hours, depending on the out-
door temperature
• If necessary, treat stubborn
stains again after the leather
has dried
• Allow the cleaned leather to
dry and treat it with BMW
impregnating oil for leather
If usage is normal, it is enough
to treat the leather approxi-
mately twice a year in this way.
If conditions are severe, treat
the leather more frequently.
• Using the BMW cleaner for
leather correctly diluted with
water, thoroughly wash out all
dirt and stains

Note:
The cleaner contains certain
care substances that can only
penetrate into the leather when
it is thoroughly wetted by wash-
ing.
Rubbing with spirit of wine be-
fore washing out with the
cleaner solution and water
helps remove grease and oil
stains.
Using spirit of wine alone will
stain the leather!
