Incorrect battery disconnection
Danger of short circuit
Follow the disconnection sequence.
Remove the negative battery cable 1 with
the screw 2.
Remove the retaining strap 3.
On the right side of the motorcycle, re-
move the adapter cable for the positive
terminal 2 with the screw 1.
Pull out the battery 2 completely; when
doing so, pay attention to the adapter ca-
ble for the positive terminal 1.
Installing the battery
If the vehicle has been disconnected
from the battery for a long time,
the current date must be entered in the
instrument cluster to make sure the service
display is working properly.
Fasten cable ties 2 as an installation aid on
the adapter cable for the positive termi-
nal 1.
