ONBOARD COMPUTER
Calling up the onboard computer
Go to the My vehicle menu.
Scroll to the right until the ONBOARD COM-
PUTER menu panel is displayed.
As an alternative, the on-board computer
can also be displayed on the split screen.
Switching on the split screen and selecting
a display ( 73).
Resetting the on-board computer
Calling up the onboard computer ( 79).
Press MENU rocker button down.
Select Reset all values or Reset in-
dividual values and confirm.
The following values can be reset individu-
ally:
Journey
Break
Current
Consump.
Speed
Calling up the travel on-board computer
Calling up the onboard computer ( 79).
Scroll to the right until the TRIP COM-
PUTER menu panel is displayed.
As an alternative, the travel on-board com-
puter can also be displayed on the split
screen.
Switching on the split screen and selecting
a display ( 73).
Resetting the travel on-board computer
Calling up the travel on-board computer
( 79).
Press MENU rocker button down.
Select Automatic reset or Reset all
values and confirm.
If Automatic reset is selected, the
travel on-board computer is automatically
reset if at least six hours have passed
since the ignition was switched off and
the date has changed.

Operation of a smartphone while the
vehicle is in motion or when the engine
is running

Observe the relevant road traffic regula-
tions.
Do not use while riding (except for ap-
plications without operation such as
telephony via the hands-free system).

loss of control
Risk of accident through the use of inte-
grated information systems and communi-
cation devices during the journey
Operate these systems or devices only if
the traffic situation allows.
If necessary, stop and operate the sys-
tem or devices at a standstill.
Prerequisite
The vehicle is connected to a compatible
mobile end device via Bluetooth.
The BMW Motorrad Connected App is in-
stalled on the mobile end device.
On some mobile devices, e.g. with op-
erating system iOS, the BMW Motorrad
Connected App must be called up before us-
ing.

WiFi is activated on the mobile end device
paired via Bluetooth.
Connecting a mobile end device ( 75).
Call up the BMW Motorrad Con-
nected app.
Go to the Navigation menu.
