Install the negative battery cable 1 with
the screw 2.
Install the retaining strap 3.
Insert the battery cover 2 into the grom-
mets 3.
Install screws 1.
Attach the passenger footrest plate 1.
Install screws 2.
Passenger footrest holder on frame
M8 x 25 - 10.9
Passenger footrest holder on frame
21 lb/ft (28 Nm)
Position muffler cover 1.
Install screws 2.
Fastening muffler cover on muffler
M5 x 10
4 lb/ft (5 Nm)
Installing side trim panel ( 121).
with anti-theft alarm system (DWA)
OE
Switch on the anti-theft alarm system if
necessary.
Setting the clock ( 74).
Setting the date ( 73).
FUSES
Replacing fuses
ATTENTION
Bypassing defective fuses
Risk of short circuit and fire
Do not bypass defective fuses.
Replace defective fuses with new fuses.
Switching off the ignition ( 45).
Park the vehicle, making sure that the
ground is firm and level.
Removing side trim panel ( 120).
