1. Remove the handle screw (15), the locking handle (17) and the clamping plate (13) of the lt adjustment.
2. Remove one screw of the reinforcer (30) on the underside of the saw table (7). Turn the reinforcer so that the slot in the saw table is free.
3. Insert the saw table (7) from back to front. Guide the band saw blade (28) through the slot.
4. Fasten the saw table (7) with the clamping plate (13), the handle screw (15) and the locking handle (17). The recess of the clamping plate runs in the guide
on the underside of the saw table.
5. Fix the reinforcer (30) in its original posion.
6. Adjust the posion of the band saw blade (refer to the appropriate secon in this manual).

Familiarise yourself with the operang elements before using the device for the rst me.
Upper guide (6)
CAUTION! Danger of cuts and damage! Always lower the upper guide with saw band guard (5) as closely as possible to the workpiece to be sawn.
This keeps the band saw blade covered and helps with the guiding of the blade.
1. CAUTION! Danger of cuts! Never move the upper guide (6) by hand. Loosen the retaining screw (9) of the height adjustment (8) for the upper guide.
2. Raise or lower the upper guide (6) by turning the height adjustment (8). Direcon of rotaon as seen from behind: Raise, Lower
3. Tighten the retaining screw.
Tilng the saw table
You can turn the locking handle (17) independently of the screw by pulling the locking handle away from the frame (12).
1. Loosen the locking handle (17) and the handle screw (15).
2. Tilt the saw table (7). The angle scale (16) shows the inclinaon.
3. Tighten the locking handle and the handle screw.
Opening the housing door
WARNING! Remove the mains plug from the outlet before opening the housing door.
1. Turn the door lock (4) . Aer a maximum of 2 rotaons, the housing door (2) opens slightly. The safety switches interrupt the power circuit.
2. Turn the door lock further unl you can open the housing door.
Closing the housing door
1. Press and hold the housing door (2) against the frame (12).
2. Turn the door lock (4) .
Safety devices
WARNING! Risk of injury due to damaged safety devices. Damaged safety equipment and parts must be repaired or replaced professionally by our
service centre, unless otherwise indicated in the operang instrucons.
The following safety devices protect you when you are working:
Saw band guard (5) on the upper guide (6)
Should be as low as possible when sawing. Protects the hands while sawing. Prevents body parts or objects from being pulled in by the band saw blade.
Safety lock
Consists of a pin (26) on the housing door and a safety switch (27) on the frame. Switches the machine o immediately if a housing door is opened during
operaon. Prevents body parts or objects from being pulled in by the band saw blade or wheels (25, 29).
Checking the machine before operaon
Check the machine carefully before each use.
WARNING! Risk of injury due to unintenonal start-up. Do not insert the plug into the socket unl the device is fully prepared for use.
Checking and replacing the table insert
1. Check if the table insert (22) is damaged.
2. Replace the table insert if damaged.
WARNING! Cung injuries! Wear cut resistant gloves when working with the saw blade.
a) Press the table insert out of the saw table (7) from underneath.
b) Place a new table insert into the recess in the saw table.
The table insert should not protrude and should be ush with the saw table.
