Support of firmware version 1.4 or higher!
This manual describes the configuration with the A-Link Plus software in connection with the
firmware version 1.4 or higher. If you use an older firmware version, contact your local sales
contact.
The AMAX panel supports remote programming via USB, telephone, or IP network using the
software A-Link Plus. The following option can be performed:
– Setting the date and time
– Uploading / downloading programming parameters
– Remote arming / disarming of each area
– Enabling / disabling the alarm siren of each area
– Enabling / disabling each output
Common settings for all types of connections
1. Select Customer –Open Customer from the menu bar of the A-Link Plus program.
The Customer Information index sheet opens.
2. Select the Control Panel Configuration index sheet.
Control Panel Type
4 Select the control panel type.
Subscriber Number
1. Select the item Communication and Report manager – Receiver setting in the same
index sheet.
2. Make sure that the value for subscriber number 1 is the same as currently programmed in
AMAX panel as receiver 1.
3. The value is 000000, when the firmware of the AMAX panel was upgraded or when the
AMAX panel has factory settings.
