Before and after change of seasons perform the following for proper
operation:
Operate the unit in self clean mode to dry the unit.
The unit will stop operation after 90 minutes or stop the operation by
pressing the Stop button on the remote control when completed, and
turn the circuit breaker off.
Inspect air filters and remove for cleaning.

Do not directly splash or pour water onto them.
Do not use hot water, thinner, abrasive powders or strong solvents.
Clean indoor unit and remote control by wiping them with a soft cloth.
Only have the outdoor unit cleaned by an approved contractor.
5.3 Cleaning of air filter
The filter should be cleaned every two weeks.
Switch off the appliance.
Remove the air filter by lifting it at the handles provided ( Fig. 3).
Use a vacuum cleaner to remove dust.
If the filter is dirty, wash it with hot water and a mild cleaning agent.
Dry the filter in the shade before reinstalling.
Reinstall the filter by engaging the hooks of the filter in the holes in
the appliance ( Fig. 4).
5.4 Cleaning the plasmacluster ion unit (PCI unit)
Regular cleaning allows for a stable release of high concentrations of
plasmacluster ions. Clean the PCI unit ( Fig. 5), [1] every 6 months.
Turn off the safety switch.
Open the air baffle.
It is not necessary to take out the PCI unit to clean appliances of the type
CLC6001i....
Press the top side of the PCI lock ( Fig. 6), [1], then rotate it
downwards.
Slide the PCI unit ( Fig. 7), [2] to the right side, until both marks
match each other [1]. Support the PCI unit during this procedure to
avoid it from falling off.
Take the PCI unit out.
NOTICE
Do not touch the terminals ( Fig. 8), [2] of the PCI unit.
Be wary of deformation of the electrode area [1].
Use the PCI brush [3] or the swab (sold separately) to clean the area
around the PCI electrode [1] from dust.
CAUTION
Danger of children swallowing the PCI brush.
Keep the brush away from children.
For installation follow the steps above in the opposite direction.
Use the swab with little water to clean stubborn stains.
5.5 Replacing the plasmacluster ion unit (PCI unit)
Replace the PCI unit if the blue plasmacluster lamp flashes 10 times after
the air conditioner unit starts operation.
The blue plasmacluster lamp will flash for about 1 minute after the unit
starts operation, indicating that the PCI unit will stop generating the
plasmacluster ions.
Contact your dealer to buy a new PCI unit for replacement.
