Other environmental influences
Observe the application notes in the project planning manual regarding risks
due to outer influences, such as:
● Operation only within the specified ambient conditions
● Maximum vibration and impact loads
● Protection of protective conductor connections against dirt, corrosion,
moisture and/or aggressive substances etc.
Surface of the motor housing
The housing paint of the motors consists of a black (RAL9005) 2K epoxy res‐
in coating based on epoxy-polyamide resin in water.
Overcoating the motors in ATEX design is not admissible in order to not to
effect the surface properties (such as insulation resistance, electrostatic
charge) adversely.
