6 Labeling the motors
Motors in ATEX design have an additional label that is located on the side of
the motor housing, next to the motor type label. The identification label is lo‐
cated laterally at the motor housing next to the type plate of the motor and
shows
● the classification of the motor according to ATEX
● important details for setting the motor purging device
