Switching on the appliance
and setting a programme
1. Turn the programme selector to
switch on the appliance.
2. Set the programme you require.
3. Adjust the programme settings, if
required.
Note: If you want to starch your
laundry, set the Spülen (Rinse)
programme.
Programme settings
Once you have set a programme, you
are shown the recommended
programme settings. Depending on the
programme and programme progress,
you can adjust or activate/deactivate
the settings available in each case. You
can find an overview of all settings
available depending on the programme
from ~ Page 25.
You can do the following to
programme settings:
■ Activate/deactivate them
■ Adjust them
Activating, deactivating or adjusting
Press the relevant programme setting.
The activated programme setting is
displayed.
Placing the laundry into the
drum
:Warning
Risk of explosions/fire!
Laundry that has been pretreated with
cleaning agents that contain solvents,
e.g. stain remover/cleaning solvent,
may cause an explosion in the drum.
Rinse the laundry thoroughly with water
before washing it in the machine.
Note: Do not exceed the programme's
maximum load. If you overload the
appliance, the washing results will not
be as good and the laundry is more
likely to crease.
