Soaking
If you want to soak your laundry before
washing, proceed as follows:
1. Switch on the appliance and set the
required programme.
2. Determine the dosage and add
detergent.
3. Start the programme.
4. After approx. 10 minutes, press
Start/Nachlegen (Start/Pause) to
pause the programme.
5. After the required soaking time,
press Start/Nachlegen (Start/
Pause) again to continue the
programme.
Note: No additional detergent is
required as the water used for soaking
will be reused for washing.
Changing the programme or
adding more laundry
Notes
■ Do not leave the appliance door
open for too long when adding or
removing laundry, otherwise water
may leak out.
■ For safety reasons, the door remains
locked when the water level or
temperature is high, or while the
drum is turning, and it is not possible
to add or remove laundry during this
time.
■ After changing the programme,
programme setting or load, the
values displayed may change.
After the programme starts, you can
add or remove laundry as necessary
and change or adjust the programme:
1. Press Start/Nachlegen (Start/
Pause).
The appliance is paused and checks
whether it is possible to add or
remove laundry.
2. Add more laundry or remove laundry
if possible.
3. Close the door.
4. If required, set another programme
and/or adjust programme
settings.~ Page 25
5. Press Start/Nachlegen (Start/
Pause) .
Cancelling the programme
Once the programme has started, you
can cancel it at any time:
1. Press Start/Nachlegen (Start/
Pause) .
2. Open the door.
Note: The appliance door remains
locked for safety reasons if the
temperature or water level is high.
Proceed as follows:
a) If the temperature is high: Start
the Spülen (Rinse) programme.
b) If the water level is high: Start the
Schleudern/Abpumpen (Spin/
Drain) programme.
3. Remove the laundry.
Resuming the programme
when the programme status is
Rinse Stop
■ If the laundry is to be spun, set the
spin speed and then press Start/
Nachlegen (Start/Pause).
■ If the water is to be pumped out, set
the Schleudern/Abpumpen (Spin/
Drain) programme, set the spin
speed to 0 and start the programme.
