If they are, reduce the source output level or use the Designer software to reduce the input gain. * Also check the audio output signal indicators, if they are solid red, and the input indicators are green, use the Designer software to reduce the output gain or any intermediary gain in the signal path. * If the input source signal is clean and the input and output indicators are green, check that the loudspeakers are not being overdriven or damaged.

  If your Bose Recording Equipment has power but no sound is coming out, check the following: * First, verify that there is an input signal from the source. The audio input indicator should be green (or yellow). * Next, verify that there is an output signal. The audio output signal indicator should be green (or yellow). * If there is an input signal (indicator green) and no output signal (indicators off), the ESP may be muted, output levels may be down, or the unit may be completely unprogrammed. Run Control- Space Designer software and connect to the ESP and verify that signals are passing from inputs to outputs.

  If the Ethernet LED is lit but your Bose Recording Equipment cannot communicate with the ESP, verify the following: * Ensure the LAN settings on your PC's TCP/IP Ethernet device are correctly configured. If not using a DHCP server, manually set the PC's IP address to an unused address (e.g., 192.168.0.2), and ensure the default IP Subnet mask is set to 255.255.255.0. Check your PC's firewall settings and unblock all ports. * Confirm that the correct NIC card is selected in the ControlSpace Designer software network tool. * If using a rear-panel network card, ensure the front-panel network connection isn't plugged into the same network. * Check for another ESP connected with the same address.
