If the ribbon spring is weakened or damaged, replace it. Also, a worn or damaged pusher should be replaced. Make sure to pull the trigger all the way. If the temperature is too low, warm up the fuel cell under 120°F (50°C). Other solutions may include replacing the piston ring, piston, or cylinder piston ring.
