recommended.
6. Activate purge function of the argon gas control device in order to flood
the gas supply line of the connecting cable with argon gas.
7. Actuate the blue pedal of the foot and check the operation of the
system (activation of argon gas control unit, the generator and
instruments). Hold the probe tip at a distance of approx. 5mm from a
bare, non-insulated metal part (e.g. infusion stand). There must be no
electrically conductive contact with the patient or other persons. Upon
actuation, must form an argon plasma jet between the metal part and
the tip.
The device is ready for use.

5 Cleaning
Unsterile products must not be used without previous cleaning/disinfection and
sterilisation. Effective (pre-) cleaning is an essential prerequisite for effective
disinfection and sterilisation of the products.
As part of your responsibility for ensuring that instruments are sterile in use, it
must be ensured that only adequately validated methods specific to the device
and the product are used for cleaning/disinfection and sterilisation, and that
the validated parameters are maintained in each cycle. The laws applicable in
your country and the hygiene regulations of the responsible organization for
hygiene must be observed.
