5.1 Pre-cleaning
Soaking
Soaking must take place immediately after use (within a maximum of one hour). For
this, use only aldehyde-free (otherwise fixation of blood contamination) detergent
with proven efficacy (eg DGHM or FDA approval or CE marking) that are suitable for
the cleaning of instruments and are compatible with the instruments.
A disinfectant used for soaking is for the protection of persons
and cannot replace the disinfection step to be carried out - after
pre-cleaning.
NOTICE
Risk of material damage by scouring products and metal brushes!
► Never clean the instrument using abrasives or metal brushes.
