15. Using a #2 Phillips screwdriver, loosen the two upper screws
that attach the Shrouds. Loosen them enough to allow the cable
to not be pinched.
16. Remove the Handlebar Cap and Grip.
17. Turn the Brake Assembly to ‘8’ on the dial.
18. Using a #2 Phillips screwdriver, remove the set screw from
the Manual Brake Shifter. Slide the Manual Brake Shifter off of
the Static Handlebar.
19. Place a piece of tape on the Brake Cable immediately above
the Cable Clamp of the Potentiometer and above the Brake Arm.
During re-assembly, the tape will be a guide for the placement of
the new Brake Cable.
20. Using a #2 Phillips screwdriver, loosen the 2 screws from the
Cable Clamp that connects the Potentiometer to the Cable.
