Cinnamon Raisin Bread
Makes a 1-1/2 lb. loaf
3/4 cup warm water
1egg
1Tbl. butter or vegetableoil
2-2/3 cups allpurpose flour
3Tbl. dry milk
2Tbl. sugar
1/3 cupraisins
1-1/2tsp. cinnamon
1tsp. vanilla
1tsp. salt
1-1/2tsp. dryyeast
Add all ingredients to bread pan in the order given.
Makes a2 lb. loaf

1-1/2Tbl. butter or vegetableoil
3-1/2 cups allpurpose flour
1/4 cup dry milk
3Tbl. sugar
1/2 cupraisins
2tsp. cinnamon
1tsp. vanilla
1tsp. salt
2tsp. dry yeast
Anadama Oatmeal Bread
Colonial American folk stories about the name Anadama accredit Anna's husband for this bread. The
hungry fisherman returned home to find Anna gone and a supper of cornmeal mush and molasses. The
legend is he cursed her while preparing his own bread from the meal. Our version with oats, makes great
sandwiches, and is terrific with chili.
Makes a 1-1/2lb. loaf Makes a2 lb. loaf
1/4 cup oatmeal
1/8 cupcornmeal
1-1/8cup boilingwater
2Tbl. butter or vegetableoil
2Tbl. molasses
1cup wholewheat flour
2cups bread flour
1/4 cup dry milk
2Tbl. gluten
1-1/2tsp. sak
1-1/2tsp. dryyeast
1/3 cup oatmeal
3Tbl. cornmeal
1-1/2cupboilingwater
3Tbl. butter or vegetableoil
3Tbl. molasses
1-1/4cup wholewheat flour
2-1/2 cups bread flour
1/3 cup dry milk
3Tbl. gluten
2tsp. sak
2tsp. dry yeast
Add oatmealand cornmealto heat-proofbowl. Pour inboiling water,stirringto prevent lumps.
Letthe mixturecoolfor ten minutes. Stir,pour it into the bread pan, and addthe rest of the ingredients
in the ordergiven.
