SevenGrain Bread
Ifyou have a health food store nearby that sellsgrains and flours in bulk, it is easyto buy a small quantity
of a variety of flours, and experiment. Don't worry ifyou can't find all these grains; just use more whole
wheat or another grain.
Makes a 1.1/2 lb. loaf Makes a2 lb. loaf
1-1/8 cup warm water
1-1/2 Tbl. vegetable oil
2 tsp. honey
1-112cup whole wheat flour
1/4 cup brown rice flour
1/4 cup spdt flour
114 cup buckwheat flour
1/4 cup rye flour
114cup oatmeal
118cup cornmeal
114cup gluten
1tsp. salt
1-1/2 tsp. dry yeast.
1-1/2 cup warm water
2 Tbl. vegetable oil
1Tbl. honey
2 cups whole wheat flour
1/3 cup brown rice flour
1/3 cup spelt flour
113cup buckwheat flour
1/3 cup rye flour
1/3 cup oatmeal
114 cup cornmeal
113 cup gluten
1tsp. salt
2tsp. dry yeast
Add all ingredients to bread pan in the order given.
Two Cheese Bread
Makes a 1-1/21b. loaf
2/3 cup warmwater
1Tbl. butter or vegetableoil
1egg
2tsp. sugaror honey
1/2 cupwholewheat flour
2-1/2cupbread flour
1/4 cupdrymilk
1cupcheddar cheese,grated (3oz.)
3Tbl. Parmesan,grated (1/2 oz.)
2tsp. sesameseeds
1tsp. sak
1-1/2tsp. dryyeast
Add all ingredients to bread pan in the order given.
