Chapter 2: Attaching springs and mechanism to the bed.
Attach mechanism
to inside face
of side panel as
shown in Fig. 2B
using 5 machine
screws and
lock nuts from
hardware card #2.
Repeat steps for
opposite panel.

STEP 2
The screws go in from the outside of the Bed Cabinet and the nuts go on
from inside of the Bed Cabinet. The panels have a recessed area on the
outside of the Bed Cabinet that the screws will t ush into once tightened.
Spring covers will attach toward the end of the assembly on Chapter 7, Step 3.
The front-top screw will have an integrated T-Nut that will prevent the Arm
Lock from slipping o later during assembly (Chapter 5, Step 1).
