1 INTRODUCTION
Welcome
Thank you for purchasing the 671 Laser Wavelength Meter from Bristol Instruments. Two
different models of this system are available: the 671A and 671B. The model 671A measures
absolute laser wavelength to an accuracy of ± 0.2 parts per million. The 671B system has an
accuracy of ± 0.75 parts per million.
The model 671A and model 671B are available for operation over the wavelength ranges of 375
1100 nm (VIS version), 520 1700 nm (NIR version), and 1 5 m (IR version). The 671B
system is also available for operation over the wavelength range of 1.5 to 12 m (MIR version)
with an accuracy of ± 1.0 part per million.
This Users Manual includes information about the 671A and 671B Laser Wavelength Meters. It
covers all the topics necessary to help you operate your system.
