SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
The left manometer 1 indicates
the CO
2
pressure and the lling
level of the CO
2
bottle.
The right manometer 3 indicates
the CO
2
pressure applied to the
appliance. The optimum setting
is 4.5 bar / 0.45 MPa.
For additional safety, the CO
2
pressure regulator has a pres-
sure relief valve 2.
Water pressure regulator
According to DIN EN 1717 the
water dispenser is installed with
a water pressure regulator and a
controllable backow preventer.
The water pressure regulator
reduces the inlet water pressure.
The water pressure regulator is
preset to 4 bar / 0.4 MPa. This
pressure must not be changed
without authorisation.

Danger of illegible labelling!
Over time, stickers and signs
may become dirty or indecipher-
able for other reasons, meaning
that dangers are not recognised
and necessary operating instruc-
tions cannot be followed. There
is danger of injury as a result.
Always keep all safety, warning
and operating instructions
clearly legible.
Replace damaged signs or
stickers immediately.
Spare parts
The use of incorrect spare parts
can cause damages and mal-
functions of the water dispenser.
Only use original spare parts
from BRITA GmbH or spare
parts approved by BRITA
GmbH. The device must be
connected to the water supply
using new pipes only. Old hos-
es must never be reused.
Never attempt the
unauthorised
repair of the water dispenser.
For repair work, which may
only be carried out by qualied
persons, contact customer ser-
vices (see rear page).
A list of the original spare parts
is available from the manufactur-
er, customer services or special
retailer.
Endangerment of the environ-
ment from improper handling
of environmentally hazardous
substances!
The improper handling of en-
vironmentally hazardous sub-
stances, particularly improper
disposal, can lead to substantial
damage to the environment.
Always follow the notes stated
below for the handling of en-
vironmentally hazardous sub-
stances and their disposal.
If environmentally hazardous
substances are unintentionally
released in the environment,
immediately implement the
appropriate measures. In case
of doubt, inform the responsible
local authorities about the dam-
ages and inquire about suitable
measures to be taken.
The following environmentally
hazardous substances are used:
Refrigerants could contain poi-
sonous and environmentally haz-
ardous substances. They must
not be allowed to be released in
the environment. The disposal
must be implemented by a pro-
fessional waste disposal opera-
tion. In the event of damages to
the cooling system, immediately
contact customer service (see
rear page).
