3-3. Preparing Your PC
This section describes how to install the GT-541 Printer Driver, manuals (Basic Operation Manual/
Instruction Manual), Brother GT File Viewer, and other tools.
All of them can be installed at once.
3-3-1. For Windows XP Users
<Before installing! > Start installing without connecting your printer to your PC.
<Note>
With Windows XP, you need to log on with a Computer Administrator account for the installation. You
cannot install the software programs as a Limited account user.
(1) Turn on your PC.
(2) Close all applications opening.
(3) Insert the Install CD (included) to your PC.
If the following installer automatically opens, skip step (4) to (5) and go to step (6).
If not, go on to the next step to open the installer.
(4) Click “Run…” on “Start” menu.
