(9) Remove the Install CD when the following window appears.
(10) Select “Yes, I want to restart my computer now”, and then click “Finish” to restart your PC.
If you are going to use your printer without connecting to your PC, this is the end of PC preparation.
If you are going to use your printer connecting to your PC, go on to the next step.
<Note>
If you select “No, I will restart my computer later”, make sure you restart your PC before going to
the next step.
(11) Connect the USB 2.0 cable to your printer.
<Note>
Do not connect the USB 2.0 cable to your PC first.
The USB 2.0 cable is not included. Separate purchase is required.
To connect your printer to your PC using a USB hub, please contact Brother Customer Service
Hot Line before you connect.
(12) Connect the other end of the USB 2.0 cable to your PC.
