FIL TEA is in the

"Out"

position.

Note:

For

long

term

storage

remove

the

batteries

and

keep

the

instrument

in a

dry

place.

3.3. MOUNTING THE MICROPHONE

The

different

methods

for

mounting

the

microphone

are outlined below. However,

before

actually

mounting

the

microphone,

the

following

precautions

should be observed. Only

light

finger

torque

should be

applied

the

microphone,

extension

cable, etc. Dust and

foreign

objects

should be

kept

off

the

diaphragm,

which should

not

be touched

with

any

object.

If the

diaphragm

must

be cleaned,

very

lightly brush

with

soft

cotton

wool

swab. Dry and

preferably

warm

conditions

are

recommended

for

storing

the

instrument

and

its

accessories.

Direct mounting

Insert

the

Input

Stage

ZC 0020

into

the

input

stage

socket

the

Sound

Level

Meter

and

secure

turning

the

threaded

retaining

ring. If the

dehumidifier

UA 0308 is

required

should

screwed

on next,

followed

finally

the

Microphone.

Please

note

that

the

silica-gel

the

Dehumidifier

should

be blue. If

pink

the

Dehumidifier

should

dried

out

at a

temperature

not

exceeding

130° C.
