The BCU I has a dust filter (Z150447). For optimal performance and maximum lifetime of the
BCU I the dust filter has to be cleaned or replaced every 6 months.
Procedure to clean or replace the dust filter
1. Unplug the power cable from the power socket of the BCU I .
2. Loosen (but do not unscrew completely) the four hexagon socket screws (2).
3. Push the housing cover (1) back ( approx. 30 – 40 mm).
4. Unlock the two fasteners (3) and remove the filter grid (4) with the dust filter (5).
5. Clean or replace the dust filter (5) with a vacuum cleaner.
6. Reinstall the dust filter (5).
