Air hood with flexible air hose
The air hood (Fig. 62/1) is used to direct the humidified
air to a specific point. The air hood is placed on the air
outlet opening. Subsequently, an aluminum air hose is
pushed over the hood and turned in the direction of the
desired airflow. This accessory is used everywhere,
where the humidified air must be directed in critical
areas.

UV degermination system and lime transforming cartridge
Health risk from toxic mercury vapor!
– When changing the UV lamp always handle care-
fully to avoid damage to the UV lamp.
– Never dispose of the UV lamp in common house-
hold trash. Information about correct disposal
can be obtained from the local authorities or
from special waste management companies.
The tube of the UV lamp contains toxic mercury.
Inhaling mercury vapors causes a high risk of acute
toxicity.
Requirement
– Installation of the UV degermination system and the
lime transforming cartridge is done exclusively by
the manufacturer.
By the radiation of the water with ultraviolet light, germs
and microorganisms in the water are killed off. The
water for the humidifier is disinfected and returns back
into the water cycle of the device, number of germs
reduced.
In addition, the device can be equipped with a lime
transforming cartridge that changes the molecular struc-
ture of lime so that it can no longer accumulate on the
surfaces in the device.
