To prevent contamination of the solenoid valve,
flush thoroughly the line prior to connecting.
2.
Connect the humidifier, according to the regula-
tions of the local water supply authority, to the local
water supply system. Here, adhere to the following
points:
n The material used and the connection must
meet the IEC 61770 standard.
n Always adhere to the regulations of the local
water supplier. A backflow preventer might be
required.
n For dimensions and connection sizes see
drawing Fig. 57.

Automatic flushing device
Requirement
Automatic water supply
Installation of the automatic flushing device is done
exclusively by the manufacturer. Connecting to a
local water supply system is only permissible by an
authorized plumber.
The automatic flushing device is used to exchange, in
regular intervals, the residual water in the water tank
and to top up with fresh water. This unit is only used in
combination with the automatic water supply; no
manual water exchange required.
The water exchange can be started manually. For this
proceed as follows:

To start the flushing device manually via the
remote control, press the [Flush] button.
In addition to the manual start, the flushing device can
be programmed so that the water is automatically
exchanged in intervals of 1–7 days. For this proceed as
follows:
