its disconnect switch, if appropriate, and open it.

pressures than standard R--22 systems. Do not use
R--22 service equipm ent or components on Puron
refrigerant equipment.

Failure to foll ow this warning could result in personal
injury or death.
Disconnect gas piping from unit when pressure testing
at pressure greater than 0.5 psig. Pressures greater
than 0.5 psig will cause gas valve damage resulting in
hazardous condition. If gas valve is subjected to
pressure greater than 0.5 psig, it must be replaced
before use. When pressure testing field-supplied gas
piping at pressures of 0.5 psig or less, a unit connected
to such piping must be i solated by closing the manual
gas valve(s).

Routine Maintenance
These items should be part of a routine maintenance
program, to be che cked every month or two, until a
specific schedule for each can be identified for this
installation:
Quarterly Inspection (and 30 days after initial
start)
S Return air filter replacement
S Outdoor hood inlet filters cleaned
S Belt tension checked
S Belt condition checked
S Pulley alignment checked
S Fan shaft bearing locking collar tightness checked
S Condenser coil cleanliness checked
S Condensate drain checked
Seasonal Maintenance
These items should be checked at the beginning of each
season (or more often if local conditions and usage
patterns dictate):
Air
Conditioning
S Condenser fan motor mounting bolts tightness
S Compressor mounting bolts
S Condenser fan blade positioning
S Control box cleanliness and wiring condition
